Caged and fast moving birds are difficult to photograph well, so hats off to the owner of this gorgeous little bird! It’s a Golden Pheasant for everyone wondering what bird could have such wonderful markings. He sure is a lot smaller than the pheasants I’ve seen in the wild around here!

These two colorful friends are called Lorikeets and they’re nuzzling up to one another to keep warm! Either that or they’ve gone for the whole “strength in numbers” approach to whoever decided to paint them 235 different colors.
I hope those feathers are machine washable!

This is a great picture of a Mandarin duck. Talk about beautiful plumage! Male ducks are the ones who have the most colorful feathers in order to attract the female ducks.

What could be cuter than this tiny little duckling? Picture about 8 of them all lined up in a row!
Come to think of it.. I’ve never seen an ugly duckling. They’re all just so adorable!
