Awww.. Cute little kitten is reaching for something juuuuuust off of camera!  Don’t you wish you could see what has this adorable kitten so captivated??  I bet it’s a long feather, or maybe a piece of ribbon.. or maybe a little toy mouse for kitten to play with!

Ok.. maybe not quite that fast just yet.  This little cub was photographed at the San Diego Wild Animal park just last year.  It might still be another year before this little guy is chasing down gazelles and zebra!

This is Denver.  He is an ornate box turtle that was rescued from a car accident after he slid across a road on his back. A nice lady named Debbie stopped and picked him up and nursed him back to health.

He can’t eat on my own since he has no beak, but he is very well taken care of. He gets fed baby food with a syringe and meal worms with tweezers. One of his favorite games is hide and seek and he does it very well.

These baby penguins are staying close to the family for protection from the cold winds and to keep safe from other animals like seals and polar bears.

And for everyone thinking it, but too bashful to ask.. Yes, penguins are actually birds.  Don’t worry I tell anyone you asked.

These little tiger cub slipped through the fence and was only stopped by a mesh on the railings which keep the visitors away from the enclosure. A keeper had to come and fetch the adventurous little tiger girl and bring her back to her mom!

Talk about one curious, adventurous kitty!

This little rabbit was found by a young boy as he was getting ready to cut the lawn.  After posing for a few pictures he was released and hopped happily back home to mommy and daddy bunny.

Cheetahs are the fastest animals in the world!  They are also the only type of cat that cannot retract their claws.  That’s because they need them for traction while they break the sound barrier with all that running!  This cheetah cub has been running so fast that his fur is pushed backwards like he’s been in a wind tunnel!
