Asleep?  Nope!  Just blinking.. because he’s an albino, he’s a little bit sensitive to light than other non-albino squirrels.  But he is very unique, that’s for sure!  Not to mention totally cute!  12 out of 10 stars on the cute-o-meter!

Look carefully.  No.. that’s not a toy or a decorative collectors piece of a giraffe.  It’s cake!!!  Personally I don’t know if I could eat something so beautiful, what about you?  It must have taken forever to create and bake such an amazing piece of art!

When you’re a big white bear that usually lives in the arctic, and you’re now entertaining guests at a local zoo things can get a little warm.  It’s a good thing this large fellow can swim!  There’s nothing like a nice dip in some cool water to cool you off in the hot summer months!

So many beautiful stripes!  This zebra comes right up to the camera to pose for its photo opportunity.  The photo was taken at an African Safari theme park.. No, not actually in Africa!  Now for the real question.  Are zebra really black horses with white stripes or white horses with black stripes?  Post your comments below!

A moment on the beach shared by mom and pup!  These are Galapagos sea lions from.. you guessed it, the Galapagos islands.   This young pup is about to get a couple tips and a swimming (and hunting) lesson from mom.  Maybe there’s a ball somewhere on that beach and they can play catch!  Wouldn’t that be something!

Ok.. maybe not quite that fast just yet.  This little cub was photographed at the San Diego Wild Animal park just last year.  It might still be another year before this little guy is chasing down gazelles and zebra!

Words really can’t explain this picture.. so I won’t even attempt to.  Just looking at it says enough.

Toad + Toy Car + Too much time = This.   There’s a math equation for the ages!   The sad part is, I’d probably take the same photo if I had a pet toad and a toy car!

This is Denver.  He is an ornate box turtle that was rescued from a car accident after he slid across a road on his back. A nice lady named Debbie stopped and picked him up and nursed him back to health.

He can’t eat on my own since he has no beak, but he is very well taken care of. He gets fed baby food with a syringe and meal worms with tweezers. One of his favorite games is hide and seek and he does it very well.

Sometimes we get asked for more information about the animals who’s cute pictures that we’re posting.  So for all of you wondering about Koalas today.. I’ll give you some fun facts.

The Koala is a thickset arboreal marsupial herbivore native to Australia.

The Koala is found in coastal regions of eastern and southern Australia, from near Adelaide to the southern part of Cape York Peninsula. Populations also extend for considerable distances inland in regions with enough moisture to support suitable woodlands. The Koalas of South Australia were largely exterminated during the early part of the 20th century, but the state has since been repopulated with Victorian stock. The Koala is not found in Tasmania or Western Australia.
